38th Annual Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion
Get ready for one of the most anticipated events happening in the Cincy Region, the 38th Annual Black Family Reunion (BFR)! Enjoy four days of live music, food, one of the largest parades in the city, a retail market and much more! This year's lineup includes a schedule of star-studded speakers and performers, with appearances and events across the Cincy Region. The 38th Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Event Highlights: • Saturday, Aug. 15, 11 a.m. | BFR Parade | The Banks | Join BFR at The Banks in downtown Cincinnati for the Black Family Reunion Parade, presented by Nissan. Grand Marshals William and Kathy Young will lead the celebration. The parade will begin on Mehring Way and end at Sawyer Point, where trophy pickup will take place in the park. • Saturday, Aug. 15 | BFR | Sawyer Point Park | Enjoy a full day of family-friendly programming, vendors, community activations and live entertainment leading into the evening Main Stage concert, featuring a live performance by Kenny Lattimore at 6 p.m. • Sunday, Aug. 16 | BFR | Sawyer Point Park | Continue the celebration with more daily programming, family activities and community engagement throughout the park. Don't miss the Sunday Gospel Celebration, featuring a live performance by John P. Kee at 6 p.m.
