Comic Strip Contest: Submissions Open!

Storytellers, artists, and comic fans! Show off your creativity by entering our Comic Strip Contest! Create an original comic using our 4-panel comic template and let your imagination run wild. Whether your comic is funny, adventurous, deep, heartwarming, or full of surprises, we can't wait to see what you create! Use crayons, colored pencils, markers, pens, paint, or any other art medium to bring your story to life. The contest is open to three age groups: 11 & Under, Ages 12-17, and 18 & Up. To enter, simply stop by the circulation desk to pick up a comic template and submission form. Return your completed comic and entry form anytime between September 1 and September 18 to be entered into the contest. All entries will be displayed for public voting from September 21-26, and library patrons will help choose the winners. One winner from each age group will be selected, and winners will be notified on September 30. Whether you're an experienced artist or just love telling stories through pictures, this is your chance to let your creativity shine. We can't wait to read your comics! Registration is required for this free contest. In order to register, please speak to a librarian at the circulation desk, pick up a template and submission form, and return them by September 18th. No late submissions will be accepted.
