9/11 Memorial Flight and MAPS Flyin

The 9/11 Memorial Flight & MAPS Museum Fly-In takes place September 10-13, 2026, at the Canton-Akron Airport and MAPS Air Museum. This special weekend of aviation honors those who lost their lives on 9/11. The event features a series of memorial flyovers and formation flights, beginning Thursday afternoon and continuing throughout the weekend. On Friday, September 11, participants will gather for an early morning briefing before taking part in commemorative Memorial Flights. Additional formation flights, group meals and aviation activities are planned throughout Friday and Saturday. Registration is required to participate in this meaningful weekend that brings together aviation, remembrance and community in the Akron-Canton area.
