Prairies, Pollinators and Waterways

Celebrate local ecosystems at Mitchell Meadows Nature Park with hands-on nature activities, demonstrations, and arts and crafts focused on native prairies, pollinators, and waterways. There will be a Gardening for Butterflies presentation starting at 10:30 AM, along with an opportunity to make a butterfly feeder. Native plants will be available for purchase, and there will be a crawfish boil recipe sample starting at 11:00 AM while supplies last. This family-friendly event is great for learners of all ages and encourages environmental awareness and how to protect the natural world.
