SLPDI Session #4: Crafting an Online Presence for Employers

Supplying your standard resume, cover letter, and application for a position doesn't always cut it anymore. Even if you've done all the right things to catch their initial attention, your digital footprint (or lack there of) can tank your chances of employment before you even get to the first interview. Employers are looking for you online, whether you're there or not, so it's a good idea to make sure you've set up the right profiles on the right websites so that they see you at your best. Our next SLPDI workshop will guide you through the ins and outs of crafting an employable online presence. We'll discuss which sites you should prioritize, online safety, and best practices. We encourage you to bring your internet-connected device of choice so that we can work on your profiles together, but it's certainly not required! See you there.
