Digital Connect Workshop

Learn foundational digital skills and earn your own tablet! The Digital Connect Workshop equips you with the basic skills to use a tablet device with ease and confidence. During 3 two hour classes all in one week, you will learn to how to use and take care of your tablet and how to navigate apps. With a tablet, you can: Communicate with family/friends Check your email Play games Search via Google Read the news or library books Watch your favorite shows HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM Complete all three classes hosted at your site to KEEP your tablet as your own! Complete a survey before classes start, when you graduate, and after 3 to 6 months of owning the device - that's it! TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM, YOU MUST: Not already own a tablet device Be at least age 60 Annual income of less than $31,300 for singles or $42,300 for couples Have access to wifi/internet Brought to you by Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY, and funded by the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio, the United Way of GreaterCincinnati, and the Koetters Family Foundation Presented by Meals on Wheels Southwest OH and Northern KY.
