STEAM Day: Mad Scientist Tie-Dye

Put on your lab coat and join us for a colorful Mad Scientist Tie-Dye STEAM adventure! We'll mix science and art as we explore fizzing colors, discover how color mixing works, and create bold, one-of-a-kind tie-dye designs to take home. A limited number of t-shirts will be available while supplies last, but participants are encouraged to bring their own items to dye. White 100% cotton shirts, pillowcases, tote bags, socks, and other cotton fabrics work best for vibrant results. Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy and bring a jacket, since we'll be outside on the front lawn. Come experiment with color, unleash your creativity, and see the science behind spectacular tie-dye! Registration is required for this free program. This is a family program, so we encourage parents and guardians to register under their own names and add any children attending with them as guests. Children under 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
