Salute Our Soldiers Letter Writing Campaign

Write a thank-you letter to our troops! We will provide the stationery and send the letters. All letters must be dropped off at the Reference Desk by 5 PM on September 26th. All ages and abilities are welcome to write letters to Ohio soldiers overseas through A Million Thanks to thank them for their service. We will have stationery available to pick up, or you may use your own. Please adhere to the guidelines below to ensure we can send your letter. We want as many as possible to make the trip overseas! Letter Writing Guidelines: 1. Letters must be handwritten. No typing. 2. No political or religious references. 3. No loose decorations such as glitter or confetti. 4. You may use any kind of stationery, notebook, or printer paper. No cards or cardstock, please. 5. Address your letter as "Dear Service Member" and sign your first name only. No last names or contact information. 6. For adults: letters must have a minimum of five (5) full sentences. For children and adults with differing abilities: letters must have a minimum of one (1) full sentence and a drawing.
