Case Cancer Initiative [CCI] GB#3 Guest Speaker Event

CCI will be hosting guest speaker Dr. Anthony Sloan, a postdoc at the Lathia Lab at Cleveland Clinic, studying the intersection of glioblastoma and the tumor microenvironment. This speaker event will count as an Explore credit. His research investigates how glioma stem cells activate platelets, creating a high-risk environment that can promote tumor growth and contribute to the formation of blood clots in GBM patients.
