The Linguistics Department of Ohio University presents Kelley Bodwell discussing: "Designing a career in education: Crafting a teaching path that is sustainable and joyful" in via Teams Join the meeting here Abstract: Kelley Bodwell loves to share how it's possible to design an education career that is lasting and enjoyable. Her career has spanned teaching in higher education in the U.S., in the U.S. Public school system, and conducting teacher training internationally through the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Program, respectively. During her talk, you can expect her to discuss specific ways to maintain a career in education that include prioritizing career advancement, sustainability, and, perhaps most importantly, joy. Kelley Bodwell is the English Language Learning Coordinator at the American International School of Algiers, Algeria, and both an alumna '16 of the Ohio University MA Applied Linguistics program and a faculty member of the Linguistics Department.
