Jason WhiteJason White is a Cleveland native and award winning singer-songwriter whose songs have been recorded by artists including Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Old Crow Medicine Show. He began his career as the lead vocalist and songwriter for The Janglers, a Cleveland-based rock band, then as the frontman for Jason White and the Dying Breed. Bent StringBent String performs a mix of early American roots music, including early jazz, acoustic blues, roots country, and originals. The quintet centers on the vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin and underpinned with the feel of jazz-age swing. With Reed Simons hot violin, Caroline Kings sublime accordion, Kevin Richards arch-top guitars, and Cleveland Blues Hall of Fame upright bassist, Raymond DeForest.
