Graduate Writing Workshop | Creating a CV Friday, October 2, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., online Creating a CV is a practical workshop for graduate students who are new to developing an academic curriculum vitae (CV) or looking for a refresher on how to effectively present their academic and professional experience. We'll explore the purpose and structure of a CV, what sections to include, and strategies for highlighting teaching, research, publications, presentations, service, awards, and other scholarly experiences. Participants will leave with practical strategies and resources for building or strengthening a CV that reflects their developing academic careers. Presenter: Juliet Ellinger MBA, MA, PhD student in English Presenter Bio: Juliet Ellinger (publishes as Juliet Ellinger-Cruz) is a writer and Ph.D. Student in English at the University of Cincinnati. Her research explores feminist care work, disability studies, and equitable writing pedagogy. Her scholarship develops pragmatic and accessibility-centered approaches to composition, including her 2025 peer-reviewed article, "Pedagogical Engagement and Extension: Pragmatic Approaches to Teaching First-Year College Writing to Struggling Writers," published in Insights into Learning Disabilities.
