This book club welcomes all neurotypes. Whether you're self-identified, officially diagnosed, questioning, or an ally, we would love to have you! The club has a special eye toward those discovering their ADHD or autism in adulthood, but we celebrate all neurodiversity. This month, we will discuss A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. Here are some content warnings about this title from The StoryGraph : • Graphic: Suicide attempt, Suicidal thoughts, Grief • Moderate: Death, Miscarriage, Homophobia • Minor: Cancer, Domestic abuse, Animal cruelty We meet monthly on 4th Saturdays at the Downtown Main Library. Newcomers are always welcome! About the space and the event: • Getting to the event: The Main Library is easily accessible by public transit, with the streetcar and several bus lines stopping nearby. A bike rack is available on the east side of Vine Street, between 8th and 9th Streets. Paid street parking and nearby parking lots are also available. Accessible parking can be found in the gated lot next to our North Building on the north side of 9th Street, just west of Walnut Street. To enter this lot, press the button outside the gate to speak with a staff member. Please be prepared to show your placard. • Navigating the building: The library is a large, busy, urban public building.
