Katmai National Park Not-So-Junior Ranger

We're celebrating SeptemBEAR here at the Austintown Library. What better way to celebrate than by becoming a Not-So-Junior Ranger at Katmai National Park, where brown bears outnumber people? Get ready to attend Bear School 101 and fill out your Not-So-Junior Ranger workbook. Once you complete your workbook, we will send it all the way to Alaska for a Katmai National Park Ranger to check your work and mail back your patch. Not-So-Junior Rangers are typically ages 14-99. This program will be taking place in the large meeting room at the same time as the Junior Ranger program. Please use this event listing to register everyone ages 14 to 99 who will be attending and find the Junior Ranger event listing to register everyone ages 5-13 who will be attending . Even though this is an integrated program, it is important to sign up for the right event so that you get the proper workbook for your age category. To ensure access to the widest audience of interested community members, the library is restricting overlapping program registrations. Any individual registering themselves for multiple programs in a similar timeframe, will be removed from all registrations. Please only register for the program you are most interested in attending.
