Speaker: Dr. Hadi Samsamkhayani, Assistant Professor in The Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University, where he leads The FLOW Laboratory. Abstract: The first part of the talk will focus on vortex dynamics and fluid-structure interactions near a free surface. The second part will examine shock-wave dynamics and flow instabilities in supersonic jets.
