Introduction to BoodleBox: An AI Toolkit for Faculty and Staff
New to AI, or curious how it fits into your work at BGSU? This hands-on introduction gives you a guided tour of BoodleBox, a platform that lets you work with multiple AI models in one place. The facilitator will demonstrate the interface, then you will explore common academic tasks such as drafting a syllabus component, brainstorming an assignment, and summarizing an article. You will also upload your own documents to the Knowledge Bank and practice prompting the AI to work from your own materials. You will leave with practical footing and ideas for using BoodleBox in your teaching, research, and administrative work. Why you should attend: Navigate the BoodleBox interface and switch between multiple AI models. Apply BoodleBox to common academic tasks, such as drafting syllabus components, designing assignments, and summarizing readings. Upload your own materials to the Knowledge Bank and prompt the AI to work from your documents and data. Write clearer, more effective prompts to get useful responses. Identify tasks in your own teaching, research, or administrative work where BoodleBox could help. You will need access to BoodleBox to participate in this session. Your BGSU account must first be added by an administrator. Please make sure you're able to access your BoodleBox account before the session begins, as we will not be troubleshooting access issues during the session, For more information on gaining access to BoodleBox, please review the BGSU BoodleBox Stud
