Cookbook Club

Join us on the first Thursday of every other month for our new Cookbook Club! We'll try recipes from cookbooks on different themes at each meeting. Attendees should choose a recipe to make from one of the cookbooks available at the Ask Me Desk, then bring their dish to share with other attendees. We'll sample and discuss what we made--what we liked, what we didn't like, and what we might do differently. *Please be sure to bring the cookbook you used and a list of any ingredient substitutions you may have made in case other attendees have allergies or dietary restrictions. June: Best BBQ season side dishes August: Garden fresh--recipes featuring in-season fruits and vegetables October: A Festival of Cultures! If you can't make it to your favorite fall cultural festival, then come celebrate Italian-, German-, and Hispanic-American cultures with us! December: Low stress cooking--recipes that feature crockpots, instant pots, air fryers, *or* are done within 30 min.
