Canning Club - Piccalilli Relish

12:00pm - 2:00pm AGE: 18 and up | $25.00 | Financial Assistance Registration required- see link below The hot-water-bath canning method is a historical preservation method still in use today and will be explained and used in this Canning Club session. We will use produce from end of the season harvest to make piccalilli relish. Students will participate in the safe preparation and preservation of the months harvest, taking with them basic knowledge, recipes, and a jar of piccalilli relish. Learn how to preserve fruits and vegetables in an inexpensive and efficient way. Take home a jar of goodies, along with 19th-century and modern recipes.
