Dia de Muertos Ofrenda
The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican multi-day holiday involving family and friends gathering to pay respects and to remember friends and family members who have died. The celebrations can take a humorous tone, as celebrants remember amusing events and anecdotes about the departed. Ofrendas are often decorated with candles, bright marigolds called cempasúchil, and photos of loved ones, including pets, that have passed on. Visit the Austintown branch to leave a copy of a photo or a write a note to leave on our ofrenda. Photos will not be returned, so be sure to only leave copies.
