Arts for our Future 2026 - Opening Reception

Celebrating 50 Years of Arts for our Future! Join us for an open house and reception for the opening of the 2026 Arts for our Future show. Artists will be on hand to discuss their work in the show and refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. The art will remain on display for several weeks following the reception. The purpose of this show is to provide artists the opportunity to compete and exhibit in our community; to allow the public to appreciate this artistic talent; and to further our community's cultural development by the permanent display of selected artwork at the Bedford Branch Library. Purchase Awards are chosen by a select committee and those pieces will become part of the permanent collection or the Art for Loan collection. Art for Loan is unique in that those original artworks can be borrowed with a valid Monroe County Library System library card. For guidelines and artist registration, please visit this page .
