Special Effects Makeup Workshop: Ohio Goes to the Movies Event

Continue the fun from the previous night's Ohio Goes to the Movies screening of Hocus Pocus with this special effects makeup workshop with Alex Thomas and Friends. This workshop is perfect for individuals who are passionate about makeup, Halloween enthusiasts, aspiring special effects artists, or anyone curious about the magic behind movie transformations. Led by skilled and experienced makeup artists, the workshop begins with an introduction to the tools, materials, and techniques used in special effects makeup. Participants will learn about prosthetics, sculpting, molding, and painting to create trauma effects like cuts, scars, burns, bruises, and more using a combination of special effects makeup, and non toxic household materials. Learn to recreate some of the spooky effects seen in the movie! This workshop is for ages 8-adults and registration is required for all participants.
