Program Description: Prepare to babysit with confidence! This comprehensive Babysitter Safety Certification Class is designed for responsible individuals who care for children. Participants will learn essential childcare skills including basic first aid, emergency response, safe sleep practices, age-appropriate activities, and how to handle common caregiving challenges. Whether you're a first-time babysitter or looking to refresh your skills, this class provides the knowledge and confidence to keep children safe and healthy. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon finishing the course. What to Expect: - This is a hands-on skills class. Participants will practice on CPR manikins and AED trainers. - A skills evaluation and short written assessment are required to receive AHA certification. - Certification cards (valid 2 years) will be issued upon successful completion of the course. - No prior medical experience is required - this class is open to all community members.
