Park Board Fall Walk-Oct. 10th & CIVFD Open House

Park Board Fall Walk - Saturday Oct. 10th @ 10:00 a.m. The Fall Walk is at Cedar Meadow Preserve, located behind the Fire Station on E. Cemetery Rd. There will be pumpkins, donuts and Cider. Bring your kids, we will have our new fire truck for everyone to see. Rain or shine. 🚒 CIVFD OPEN HOUSE - CELEBRATING NEW ENGINE 224! 🚒 The Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Department invites our community to join us for a special Open House on Saturday, October 10th as we celebrate the arrival of our new fire engine, Engine 224! We'll kick things off at noon with free hamburgers and hot dogs for our guests. Following lunch, we'll have a few remarks from department personnel and a special blessing of Engine 224 by our department chaplain around 1:00 PM. Throughout the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to see our new engine up close, tour the fire station, meet our firefighters, EMTs and officers, and learn more about the equipment we use and the services CIVFD provides to the Catawba Island community. Whether you've always wondered what's inside a fire engine, want to learn more about your local fire department, or just want to stop by and help us celebrate this exciting addition to our fleet, we'd love to see you! 📅 Saturday, October 10th 🍔 Free lunch beginning at 12:00 PM 🚒 Engine 224 dedication & blessing to follow 🏠 Open House until approximately 3:00 PM Bring the family, meet your local first responders, and help us officially welcome Engine 224 to Catawba Island!
