Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison: An Introduction to Her Novels

Join us as instructors from YSU's Department of English and World Languages introduce a selection of Toni Morrison's novels! We will communally read and discuss the opening page of several novels- including The Bluest Eye, Beloved, Jazz, Sula, A Mercy , God Help the Child , and Song of Solomon - to appreciate her art right from the earliest moments of the books. The discussion leaders will be: Dr. Dolores Sico, Dr. Jeff Buchanan, Dr. Tim Francisco, Dr. Lucas Hardy, Dr. Laura Beadling, Frank Bell, and Isabella Davis. Light refreshments will be served.
