Arriving in 1976, he devoted his professional life to Ohio Wesleyan, staying for 50 years. He has investigated the labor market for American Indians, the determinants of the number of human trafficking victims in European nations, and the conditions of immigrant workers in Ohio's rural communities. Recently, like most people, he has followed the developments in Artificial Intelligence with an eye to how it impacts the job market.
