Mock Caldecott Medal Event

Experience the excitement of the Caldecott Medal selection process in this interactive event led by students in the ECEE 4400: Storytelling and Children's Literature Across the Curriculum class. More than 100 fifth-grade students from Zane Grey Intermediate School will join our campus to explore ten high-quality picture books. Working alongside OHIO Zanesville students, the children will discuss, nominate, and vote for their very own Caldecott Medal winner.
