Autumn Birding Walk
Naturalist Jessie Bennett will lead us into meadows and new and old forest areas. We will listen for and try to spot resident birds and perhaps some late migrants such as Yellow-rumped Warblers. The park district will provide some binoculars to use, but bring your own, if you can. Come, enjoy the early evening with us! > Note: There are elevation changes and the terrain is somewhat rugged in places we go off-trail. You may want to bring walking stick. Dress for the day's weather conditions and give special attention to good footwear. > Perry County Park District provides many fun and educational programs for people of all ages and at no charge! We support the parks by allowing them to hold events at our property without cost. If you would like to support them by either volunteering in some way or even a monetary donation, see pcparkdistrict.com/get-involved > Whispering Flint Hollow is a private property. It is not open to the public except for special programs and events such as this one. > Background Photo Credit: Yellow-rumped Warbler | Paul Danese (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Pdanese) | Creative Commons
