Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is an evidence-based suicide prevention training that will teach students, staff, and faculty practical tools to recognize the warning signs of suicide. Attendees will learn to engage in lifesaving conversations and connect individuals in crisis with appropriate support services. Hosted by Youngstown State University (YSU) Student Counseling Services (SCS) & Mahoning County MHR Board. Staff, faculty, and students attending this 90-minute training will earn a QPR Gatekeeper Certificate.
