Bats, Boo-ks, and Bonfire at Wood County Parks

What's that creature that goes bump in the night? It's probably one of our local nocturnal animals! Join the Way Library and Wood County Park District for an evening of celebrating local creatures who thrive in the dark. Stop by W.W. Knight Nature Preserve for self-guided activities such as crafts, games, and an outdoor s'more making station! The library will be leading a story time at 6:15 pm. At 7:00 pm, join park naturalists to learn more fun facts about the nocturnal animals. At 7:30 pm, join a naturalist as we set out on evening hike around the nature preserve to see what calls the preserve home. Costumes are highly encouraged! No registration is required.
