Honors Pre-Health Research Symposium

The Sokolov Honors College is hosting its 3rd annual Honors Pre-Health Research Symposium on October 29th from 1:00-4:00 pm in the Williamson Hall Conference Center. Students involved in health-related research have the opportunity to showcase their work to their peers, faculty, and prospective students. Additionally, attendees can hear from our keynote speaker and a panel of undergraduate and medical students about their research experiences. Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Thomas Macabobby, YSU honors alum and Founding Program Director, St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital Family Medicine Residency; Associate Chief Academic Officer, Mercy Health Youngstown and Lorain; and Regional Medical Director for Primary Care, Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown. There are three sessions to sign up for: Opening Session (1-2 pm), Oral Presentations (2-3 pm), and Poster Presentations and Awards (3-4 pm).
