Ritter Planetarium September Programming

The UToledo Ritter Planetarium will present two programs in September: "Chasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe" and "One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure." "Chasing the Ghost Particle" takes viewers beneath the ice of the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica, where the IceCube Neutrino Observatory detects tiny, elusive particles that offer fascinating insights into stars and galaxies. "Chasing the Ghost Particle" will screen at 8:30 p.m. Fridays through Sept. 25. "One World, One Sky" follows Big Bird, Elmo and a friend from the Chinese co-production of "Sesame Street" on an imaginary trip to the moon. "One World, One Sky" will screen at 1 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 26 Admission to all public programs is $8 for adults and $6 for children, seniors and UToledo community members. Children ages 3 and younger are free. Parking is free for visitors who register in advance online or by submitting their license plate information once inside the planetarium lobby.
