Fall Migration Walk: Guided Adventures, Outdoor Hiking Challenge

The Outdoor Hiking Challenge runs September 8th - November 30th. Take the Challenge up a notch and join Guided Adventures throughout the fall season. Each Guided Adventure can be recorded on the log sheet found at Outdoor Hiking Challenge 2026 - Ottawa County Parks . Thank you to our Outdoor Hiking Challenge Partners for hosting a variety of Guided Adventures! Join the Division of Wildlife on October 28 at 10 am. For a short hike in search of birds on their fall migration. We will be on the lookout for migratory songbirds, shorebirds, and waterfowl on their way south. Fall migration adds a different challenge compared to the spring, though the number and diversity of birds can still be incredible!
