Chuseok Celebration
KSA (Korean Student Association) is celebrating Chuseok, a Korean holiday that celebrates the harvest festival, with traditional Korean foods, games, and long-standing traditions. For KSA, hosting a Chuseok celebration provides an opportunity to celebrate and share an important part of Korean heritage while creating an inclusive event where students from all backgrounds can learn about and participate in Korean traditions. Chuseok represents values such as family, gratitude, community, and cultural connection, making it especially meaningful for Korean and Korean-American students who may be away from their families during the holiday. It can also give students who are unfamiliar with Korean culture the opportunity to experience Chuseok with friends within a welcoming community.
