Mental Health First Aid (11/3, 11/10, 11/17 & 11/24)

Join us for Mental Health First Aid delivered to you in four 2-hour sessions. Mental Health First Aid is a course that totals 8-hours. You must attend all 4 session dates for your training to be completed! University Health and Counseling Services will begin offering Mental Health First Aid - an evidence-based training program this fall led by certified trainers from CWRU. Mental Health First aid prepares participants to recognize warning signs of mental health challenges, offer compassionate initial support, and guide individuals toward appropriate campus or community resources The curriculum covers common conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and substance use, and emphasizes non‑judgmental listening, risk awareness, and referral steps. --- Event Details:
