Why spend a fortune on a Halloween costume you'll only wear once? Discover how to transform the clothes already hanging in your closet into creative, one-of-a-kind costumes that are fun, affordable, and uniquely you. Bring one piece of clothing you'd like to transform and an idea for the costume you'd like to create. With the help of sewing machines, basic sewing supplies, and a variety of fun, unexpected crafting materials, you'll learn how to alter, embellish, and reimagine your clothing into a custom Halloween costume. Please note that this workshop is designed to help you start your costume, not complete it. You'll leave with your project underway, practical sewing and design techniques, and the knowledge and confidence to continue and finish your costume at home. Don't have a piece of clothing to bring? No problem! We'll have scrap fabric and practice materials available so everyone can experiment with the techniques and participate in the class. Whether you're a beginner or already enjoy DIY projects, you'll leave with new skills, creative inspiration, and the confidence to create a unique, budget-friendly Halloween costume. Space is limited. Our classes teach equipment use and techniques. Previous participants may be waitlisted to prioritize new learners. Intermediate computer skills required. Cancellation Policy: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows result in a two-month registration suspension. Arriving 15 minutes late counts as a no-show and yo
