Story Trail Featuring "The Pigeon Needs a Bath!"

Join us for a great book featuring your favorite bird at the Story Trail at Waterworth Memorial Park! In conjunction with the Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Buckeye Elementary School, Salem Public Library invites your whole family to come out for a walk in the woods while enjoying a great picture book and getting to meet the star of the show! Don't forget to bring your camera, sun protection, and bug spray! The trail is about 3/4s of a mile and is stroller/wagon friendly for our friends who aren't able to make that walk. The trail starts near the dog park so you'll want to enter the park from Sunset Blvd. And park in the area near the ball fields/dog park and follow the signs for Story Trail. There is no registration needed for this free event! Please drop by any time between 1 and 3:45 (latest time to start on trail) to enjoy this fantastic event with your entire family.
