Taking place on Saturday, October 10, at the United Way, this special event combines education, support, and celebration for growing families throughout the community. Designed specifically for expecting mothers, the annual community shower provides an opportunity to connect with local resources, learn about healthy pregnancy and infant care practices, and prepare for the arrival of a new baby. Attendees will receive valuable information on breastfeeding, early infant-feeding practices, and other topics that help parents build a strong foundation for their child's health and well-being. In addition to educational sessions and community resource connections, guests can enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, and excitement.
