In the Interest of Time Gallery Tour

Tour the "In the Interest of Time" exhibition, a featured exhibition in the FotoFocus 2026 Biennial , at the Contemporary Arts Center. "In the Interest of Time" brings together seven regional artists - Elijah Howe, Felton, California; Julie Renée Jones, Dayton, Ohio; Robyn Moore, Morehead, Kentucky; Osamu James Nakagawa, Bloomington, Indiana; Jordanne Renner, Columbus, Ohio, and Piermont, New York; Joseph Vitone, Austin, Texas; and Lynn Whitney, Waterville, Ohio - and curator Theresa Bembnister of Cleveland. Their work explores time, memory, change and loss. Developed through a FotoFocus juried open call and led by independent curator Theresa Bembnister, the exhibition examines how photography can document personal experiences, environmental change and histories at risk of being forgotten. Their work spans decades, generations and landscapes, exploring family, identity, grief, geology, historical memory and the changing relationship between people and place. This Biennial Opening Program event is free and open to the public with the Biennial Pass. The Biennial Pass offers free access to over 70 photography and lens-based exhibitions during the month of October with invitations to exclusive events, including entry into the Opening Program (Sept. 30-Oct. 3).
