Not to be confused with student evaluations of teaching! Mid to late October is the ideal time for instructors to pause and take a reading from students to gather some insight on how they are experiencing the course. A brief check‑in can indicate what's working, which teaching practices are supporting learning, and where students may be encountering obstacles. This session focuses on straightforward ways to gather student feedback and use it to make small, targeted adjustments that strengthen learning for the remainder of the semester.
