All About Nursing with Marion Technical College

Marion Public Library Have you ever wondered what it really takes to become a nurse, or how nurses learn to make critical decisions in patient care? Join us for an interactive look inside the world of nursing and nursing education at Marion Technical College.Participants will explore the many roles and career opportunities available in nursing, learn how nursing education has evolved, and discover how today's nursing students develop the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment needed to provide safe patient care. We'll also take a behind-the-scenes look at how nursing students learn through classroom instruction, hands-on skills labs, simulation, and clinical experiences. Best of all, participants will have an opportunity to experience portions of nursing education firsthand through interactive and hands-on activities in Marion Technical College's nursing lab and simulation environment.
