Dorothy MacKenzie Price Piano Series
The Dorothy MacKenzie Price Piano Series will return to The University of Toledo on Saturday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 1, highlighting a talented pianist, organist and harpsichordist on faculty in the Department of Music. Dr. Tiantian Liang will lead a master class at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, and perform a solo piano recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the Center for Performing Arts Recital Hall. Both are free and open to the public. Liang is a visiting associate professor of piano performance and an active solo and collaborative artist who has performed at universities, festivals and concert series throughout the United States and Europe. Equally active as a scholar, she also presents lecture-recitals and conference sessions that examine keyboard repertoire, pedagogy and artistic practice, and she explores the connection between performance, teaching and inclusive programming at national and regional conferences. Visitor parking for the master class requires payment through the ParkMobile app, a parking meter or a daily permit via ParkUToledo. Visitor parking for the recital is free in Area 12, excluding disability, metered and reserved spaces. Visit the ParkUToledo website for more information.
