Join the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) for the eleventh installment of the Jay Chatterjee Global Lecture Series, featuring renowned scholar N. Katherine Hayles. Date: September 23 Time: 5-6 PM Location: DAAP 4400 Auditorium, University of Cincinnati Hayles examines new ways of understanding cognition across human, nonhuman, and artificial systems, asking what it means to share our world with nonhuman and artificial minds. Her talk traces a shift from human-centered thinking toward a more integrated, symbiotic model of cognition. Reception to follow, with a book signing and 100 free copies of Hayles' latest book, Bacteria to AI, available to attendees. This event is free and open to the public. About the Series The Jay Chatterjee Global Lecture Series was created to foster dialogue across disciplines in honor of Jay Chatterjee's leadership and vision as Dean of DAAP (1982-2001).
