"Nazi Town USA" Film Screening and Discussion

Upper Sandusky Community Library Join the Upper Sandusky Community Library for a special presentation in conjunction with the Americans and the Holocaust traveling exhibition. Project co-director Patti Davidson will screen "Nazi Town, USA," a PBS American Experience documentary directed by Peter Yost and Edna Albuquerque. The documentary tells the largely unknown story of the German American Bund, which established chapters across the country, held rallies alongside the Ku Klux Klan, and ran summer camps for children centered on Nazi ideology. The Bund's anti-Semitism mixed with "Americanism" raised issues then that we're still facing now. A discussion will follow the screening. The viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m. On Saturday, Sept. 12 in the library's board room.
