Book Bar Author Event: Liz Newman, "GENTLY WE JOURNEY"

Liz Newman will be joining at the Book Bar on Sunday, October 25 from 11 am-2 pm to sell & discuss her new poetry collection, GENTLY WE JOURNEY! ------ "Gently We Journey" is a poetry collection in honor of the roads we travel and the people who walk alongside us. It is a reflection on how far we've come, what we've learned and unlearned along the way, and the people who inspire us to keep going. Its poems cover topics such as mental health, nostalgia, chronic illness, friendship, motherhood, love, hope, grief, and life's ever-changing terrain. At its core, it's a love letter: to our younger selves, to the friends who stay the course, to the steps we take on shaky legs, and to the people and moments that bring us back home.
